Your Initial Appointment
During your initial appointment, I will take the time to learn about you, your medical history and help you to establish goals around your health and nutrition.
We will develop an individualised treatment plan to help you work towards your goals. This will involve learning evidence-based nutrition information and helpful, practical strategies that you can use right away.
I can work with you and your support team so we are all on the same page.
Follow-up Appointments
Follow-up appointments are important to helping you achieve your health and nutrition goals.
The frequency of follow-up appointments will depend on your individual nutrition needs.
Note: Follow-up appointments will take 30-45 minutes.

Fees
Initial consultation fee is $193.99 for a 60-minute appointment
The fee for follow-up appointments will depend on the length of service you receive.
Travel fees apply for home-based visits at same hourly rate pro-rata.

Other Important Information
Medicare Rebates
You may be eligible for a rebate If you have a referral from your GP of either a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) or Eating Disorder Treatment and Management (EDP) Plan. You will then be entitled to a Medicare rebate of $58 for each consultation. Discuss your eligibility with your doctor. You doctor must develop the plan prior to your appointment for you to be eligible for the rebate. A copy of this plan and a GP referral letter is required at this time of consultation.
Medicare rebates may be available for a total of 5 allied health visits per calendar year with the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan or up to 20 sessions per year with GP Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP).
Private Health
Love Your Food is recognised by private health funds. Your private health fund may provide a rebate for sessions with a dietitian. The rebate amount will vary depending on your level of cover. Please contact your private health fund to see if you are entitled to a rebate. No referral is necessary to access this. You will be provided an invoice at time of payment to use for your rebate claim.
Payments & Cancellation Fees
Please note that the full payment is taken on the day of your appointment. For details on fee structure please see my standard fees above or please contact to discuss further.
If you need to cancel your appointment, you will need to contact me directly via email at loveyourfood.me@gmail.com.
Failure to attend appointments and late cancellations disadvantage clinicians and other patients. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given to cancel or reschedule your appointment, the full cost of the consultation fee will be charged. Failure to attend appointments will incur the full consultation fee. NDIS clients who cancel within 7 days of their scheduled appointment will incur the full cost of the consultation fee, as per NDIS guidelines.
